Un primer plano de la bandera venezolana registra el impacto de ocho disparos que sustituyen el lugar de sus estrellas. A través de este gesto, propongo reflexionar sobre las agresiones, mutaciones y resignificaciones del discurso mediático, social y político que ha sufrido el símbolo patrio en Venezuela, donde la violencia se ha convertido en un eje de la identidad nacional.

Through this gesture, I propose a reflection on the aggressions, mutations, and re-significations of the media, social, and political discourse that this patriotic symbol has undergone in Venezuela, where violence has become a core element of national identity.
